Job Description
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
This position is intended to support the PMO team for a global client with regional presence in Latin America.
It is important to find a candidate with prior experience in Project Management, that is knowledgeable in budget control, schedule preparation and management, procurement process preparation & support, handling of bids desired, documentation management, preparation of meeting notes and meeting coordination, construction supervision experience, report preparation.
Also, that can handle meetings on an executive level since the PMO support will perform in a more strategic role, guiding project PMs in project delivery.
Finally, this resource should have prior experience in projects in Latin America.
- Support PMs on project management activities, risk management, budget & schedule control, construction supervision, reporting, among other.
- Support bid/procurement process (prepare RFP, down select or qualify providers) together with the client and PMs in country level.
- Prepare meeting notes & conduct strategic meetings with in country client’s representatives/Asset managers.
- Understand/be familiar with design drawings
- Able to prepare project schedule within MS Project if required
- Prepare reports using Power Point, Excel – Power BI experience desired.
Qualifications
- Good interpersonal skills
- Engineering or Architecture major and proven experience in similar roles for at least 15 years is mandatory
- Fluent English mandatory and Spanish – is a plus
- Good communication – able to manage & handle various project stakeholders – from construction team to client meetings.
- Good with conflict resolution and working on difficult environment, under pressure.
- Strong Resilience capabilities
- Good coordination skills
- PMI certified or in the process of certification desired
- Experience in working with Latin America countries preferred.
- Organized, process driven, flexible, motivated, innovative, dedicated.
