Your Role and Responsibilities

IBM Blue Studio is seeking a Project Manager for the Blue Studio team to oversee multiple projects and support activities to reach overall program goals.

IBM Blue Studio Team is responsible for the brand design for IBM facilities globally, by working with our creative partners, architects, and IBM Global Real Estate team on the interior design, environmental graphics, dimensional executions, and signage to reflect the IBM Design Language and brand attributes of our workplaces. The team is responsible for the brand design of Head Quarters, Client facing spaces, and workplace facilities.

The Project Manager for this team will have oversight of the purpose and status of the projects in the program and can use this oversight to support project-level activity to ensure program goals are met by providing a decision-making capacity.

This includes understanding the design, and construction process and typical steps to build out facilities, along with the creative process for brand design.

You will work with IBM Global Real Estate teams, our creative partners, and architects, by understanding the goals and responsibilities of each collaborator, coordinate activities to achieve timely desired outcomes. You will help develop a common set of objectives, agree on schedules, delegation of responsibility, and reach consensus on how to achieve results.

You are responsible for ensuring the overall health of projects and workflows for the Blue Studio team. Interface with multiple project and program partners both internal and external creatives. Track progress of projects and plan for timely decision points and reviews.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Solid experience as a project manager;
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and program level responsibility;
  • Demonstrated experience in clear communication skills both written and verbal;
  • Well-developed time management, organizational and follow-through skills;
  • Strong ability to collaborate, work successfully in a team, and in partnership with other teams and develop working relationships for long term success;
  • Experience in leading projects with multiple stakeholders, cross functional, with internal and external collaborators;
  • Ability to create and establish efficient processes to organize, prioritize, resource implement, and track program initiatives;
  • Bachelor’s Degree and excellent written and fluent in English;
  • This is a Hybrid role, attendance to the office will be required only 3 times peer week (IBM Tutóia-SP).

Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise

Background in supporting creative teams and familiar with creative processes;

Understanding of Brand in relation to business and design;

Understand the architectural construction process and industry terminology regarding planning, design, and construction of facilities.
